Country. As a young child, he was so familiar with the local lake he would give tours. Greg followed in his father’s footsteps for many years in the boat business as well as traveling the winding Texas roads selling some of the first cell phones.

Anyone growing up in west Texas knew that "Abilene is KEAN...KEAN 105FM".  While still in his teens Greg developed a rapport with the media from school clubs and later on as a director of the Abilene Jaycees and Abilene Chamber of Commerce board member. His favorite dealings were with KEAN. His first foray into the radio business was in Merkel, Texas as an overnight DJ just after graduating high school. He caught the radio bug. As the years progressed Greg’s interest into radio took him from Merkel to KEAN Radio as well as iconic stations iHeart Media and ESPN Austin.
 

In 2012, Greg found a way to combine his love for radio and high school football by calling games on the Texas plains near Lubbock. In 2017, Greg and his wife Lisa moved to Horseshoe Bay to be closer to family. For the last 5 years Greg researched the idea of digital radio and the result, The Lake, is the first of what he says, "Will be a network of stations dedicated to bringing music as well as focus on the local life and business".
